Autumnal Equinox

I’m not sure when I learned to look forward to the change of seasons but I sure do now. I think it has to do with my ADHD that I am rarely content with the colors and décor for very long. Just as I am getting bored it becomes time to change everything and that is a very good thing. Now that I have a garage & storage unit full of holiday decorations I am constantly finding things I’d forgotten about because it has been a while since the last time I got to see them, experience them, play with them, and enjoy them. When I bring boxes into the house for a new season and/or holiday, it’s like a discovery with every layer of packing. We are all good packers so there are a lot of things in every box. There a lot of traditions in every box. There are a lot of memories in every box. There are a lot of good times in every box. It’s all I have left.

Remember to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox – equal hours of day and night, light and darkness. And get ready for what happens next.
